About Adam Kennedy and Jessica Connor Kennedy

Adam is an experienced educational leader specialising in middle schools and international education. He has a strong interest in languages and communicating across cultures. Jessica, for the past 25 years, has worked as a team and leader development facilitator in settings including hospitals, government and unversities. She has a special interest in crisis and grief, and how to reduce the impacts of these in the workplace.

About our 'Launch Pad 2024'

Earlier this year, we packed up our Australian lives and journeyed overseas for six incredible months. Our intentions were to visit family, travel to new places and create space to ‘take stock’ before launching the next chapter of our lives. This came after a year or three of burnout warning signs and a long-held desire to live for a little while overseas, something we kept talking about but not quite acting upon. As so many of our friends and colleagues have been asking us about our 6-month adventure, we've decided to host a conversation, in which you also get to consider what your next 'launch pad' might look like, no matter how humble or how grand.

In honour of our old Japanese friends, and the new ones we met in Honshu and Kyushu this year, we’ve scheduled this webinar at a time that suits both Japan and Australia timezones.
