About the event
There is often an inclination to rush towards the new year. 2022 is a year (another year) you may want to see the end of. But don't be too fast. Each year deserves our reflection and inquiry to put it in perspective. To dream and plan with clarity for 2023 we must review what has come before. Time and space are needed for this to happen and we all need support to help ensure we address each core area of our life.
You are invited to join Jess and Adam in this two-session online group retreat. The 2-hour session on January 2nd will focus on your reflection of 2022. On January 6th, we will delve into a longer session, you will bring your understanding and perspectives of the past year to create your vision and support structures for 2023. Our aim for this retreat is for it to be enriching, inspiring, creative, thought provoking and fun of course! We want it to set you up for a positive and intentional transition into the new year.
What you will receive in this workshop
- Reflective time to review 2022 using a process to help unearth the gems of 2022 and ensure they are not lost to bring the year into clearer perspective
- Time for small group work and conversation
- Support for solo creative practice
- Clear and positive intentions for the year ahead (and openness to what may come)
- Your theme or word for 2023 that will underpin your intentions and goals

- A fun, and enriching experience
- The time and space to get this done and not miss the opportunity

Why we are doing this?
Jess and Adam have been doing a process of ‘review and create’ for many years, often with Adam's sister Amy Kennedy, as well as with larger groups. They know this time of reflection and planning cannot be underestimated to move into the new year with positive intentions, drive, and excitement. For them, this work is the antithesis of customary and superficial new year’s resolutions that never seem to stick. This sticks. Throughout this year each have been referring to their themes for 2022 and their intentions, potent reminders of what is important to them in their careers, personal life, relationships, and wellbeing. This has kept them on track during another rollercoaster year. They are excited to come together and support you through this process.
Here is Amy Kennedy sharing a bit about our retreat, followed by an intro from us!
